The cottage is located just off the N5 between the towns of Castlebar and Westport in Co. Mayo, Ireland. It situated approx. 3 miles (5 minutes drive) from the town of Castlebar and 8 miles (10 minutes drive) from Westport.

From Castlebar
Take the Westport
road out of Castlebar (N5). Travel for about three miles, you will
pass Cosgraves Garage and Shaws Garden Centre.
You will see a sign for holiday homes on your left had side. Take the little exit road just before this house; which will bring you to Stone Cottage. Its the first house on the right down this side road and is attached to the cottage with the sign.
From Westport
Take the N5 towards Castlebar from Westport. After travelling for about 8 miles you will see a sign for holiday homes on your right hand side (It is shortly past the road sign-posted Aughagower) Take the right immediately past the sign for holiday homes. Its the first house on the right down this side road and is attached to the cottage with the sign.
